The Experience

Personalized Wellness Coaching is the connective tissue of any Mahina Ola program. Your coach meets with you on day one to understand what brought you here, what you are hoping to release, and what you want to build. From there, the coaching relationship unfolds across the length of your stay through three scheduled 1:1 sessions plus daily informal check-ins.

Sessions use a blend of motivational interviewing, values clarification, and somatic inquiry — not talk therapy, but purposeful conversation that helps patterns surface. Many participants describe these sessions as the place where the insights from other programs (yoga, meditation, nutrition) find their meaning and coherence.

At program close, your coach co-creates with you a 90-day post-departure integration plan: a realistic, self-compassionate roadmap for carrying your intentions into daily life. A 30-day follow-up call is included in every coaching program.

Amara holds credentials from the International Coaching Federation and trained in Somatic Experiencing under Peter Levine's lineage. She has coached leaders, athletes, caregivers, and seekers across four continents, and considers this work at Mahina Ola the most meaningful of her career.
